REPOINTING

A project that we at C.E.F thoroughly enjoyed being a part of and I think this has really shown in the quality of craftsmanship. The transformation on this beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds is breathtaking.

The original section of our clients property dates back to the 1700,s and this was really starting to show. It’s fair to say that this property was in need of some attention to bring it back to it’s former glory.

We started by meeting with our client to discuss their ideas. We then assessed the property extensively and broke the project down into different phases and assisted with design ideas.

We began by taking out all the old mortar and replacing it with a traditional lime and sand mix. This gave the property a fresh feel and lots of curb appeal.

We then teamed up with our friends over at West Oxfordshire Woodwork @westoxfordshirewoodworks who handcrafted the simply stunning oak porch on top of our reclaimed red brick walls. We would highly recommend these very talented local lads.

Finally, it was onto the driveway, some decorative golden gravel bordered with some lovely granite sets, and finished off with some new tarmac (not laid by us).
